Electric Fuel to present new standard Li-ion batteries for medical devices at Med-Tech Innovation Expo
Electric Fuel will display its new range of standard smart batteries for the medical device industry at the Med-Tech Innovation Expo 2017, which will take place April 26–27, 2017 in Coventry, England.
Visitors are invited to booth 49a at the Ricoh Arena to learn more about our complete line of innovative batteries and chargers for the medical devices industry.
Medical device manufacturers often prefer to use standard, off-the-shelf smart batteries rather than dedicated, specially designed batteries. This way, they can reduce costs, save time and eliminate the risks associated with an unnecessary development process.
“The standard battery line of products offers of a very wide variety of capacities, tensions, sizes and form factors, together with an unprecedented reliability, maturity and high availability all over the world”, said Ronen Badichi, president of Electric Fuel. “These advantages make our standard batteries an optimal choice for medical device developers.”
“It is not easy to keep an innovative edge in a market of standard products that perform quite well,” Badichi added. “We are offering a premium product, based on Li-Ion cells from the best global vendors, that is certified according to the strictest standards but for a more reasonable and cost effective price.”
Electric Fuel already offers its Model EMB-2020 (equivalent to DR-202) and will soon release other popular models.
Electric Fuel also offers a wide variety of custom batteries and various charging solutions such as embedded chargers, desktop chargers and multi-channel chargers for hospitals.
“Med-Tech Innovation Expo provides us with an excellent opportunity to present our comprehensive products to the British market,” Badichi continued. “The UK is home to several European and global medical device leaders and a global center of distribution companies of electronic components and of batteries in particular.”
