Electric Fuel Showcases Advanced Marine Lithium Batteries At METSTRADE 2019
Amsterdam, Netherlands, November 14, 2019 – Electric Fuel, a globally recognized
manufacturer of professional batteries, will be showcasing its range of lithium ion
rechargeable marine batteries at the world’s largest marine equipment trade show,
METSTRADE 2019, November 19-21 (Booth #404 Hall 2).
Marine batteries with high energy and high-power density are required to meet the increased demand for energy by onboard systems and extended missions at sea, as well as supporting high power thrust motors used both in sailboats and in electric boats.

At METSTRADE 2019 Electric Fuel expands its marine battery line with the large format ELI52526C 4.2 kWh Lithium Ion battery that provides four times the energy and has three times longer life when compared to similar sized Lead Acid batteries.
The company also displays the ELI24V3130G49 (24V) Li-Ion offering 4 times the energy of similar lead acid batteries and ELP12V1450Wh (12V) LiFePo4 batteries offering twice the energy density compared to similar lead acid batteries, while supporting 3,000 charge cycles.
The ELI and ELP products conform to BCI Group 49, providing safe and environmentally friendly power in a form factor optimized for use in small and medium size boats.
The batteries can fast charge within approximately 1.5 hours, include an internal battery
management system and safety switch for charge protection, have LED State of Charge indication and CANbus 2.0 communications for remote monitoring and control.
Electric Fuel is also displaying its lifejacket lights at METSTRADE. The ALX / ALXII and SLX / SLXII are automatic water activated flashing LED lights for use with lifejackets.
The compact lifejacket lights are SOLAS, MED and USCG approved for use with emergency equipment.
